ATTENTION ALL MEMBERS!
PARKING LOT UPDATE!
Due to the anticipated inclement weather conditions we have moved the paving project to Wednesday & Thursday of this week.
Please note that our project will commence on Wednesday, April 16th
and conclude Phase 1 of the repair work in the late afternoon/early evening of
Thursday, April 17th.
What to expect:
On Wednesday April 16th parking will be limited on the Y Lot with additional parking available at the Wilton High School Lot located across Danbury Road from the Y.
On Thursday, April 17th the Y Lot will be closed to traffic until 12 pm as the bridge will be resurfaced. Please use the Wilton High School Lot for parking up until 12 pm.
This is phase 1 of the project as in order to complete Phase 2 the areas of the Lot that have received the new asphalt must cure [approximately 30 days] prior to the entire lot receiving a seal coating and new striping.

Wilton YMCA Aims to Lower Blood Pressure
Through New Healthy Heart Initiative
The Wilton YMCA will begin offering the YMCA Healthy Heart Initiative, a pilot program designed to help participants with hypertension lower their blood pressure through an evidence-based, self-monitoring practice.
The Wilton YMCA is looking for 75 participants with high blood pressure to take part in this program. For a small investment of time, participants receive:
- A simple, evidence-based process that may lower blood pressure
- Self-monitoring blood pressure cuff
- Access to a Y Healthy Heart Ambassador
- Tips for maintaining cardiovascular health
The Wilton YMCA is one of three Ys in the U.S. to run this pilot program.
For more information, and the criteria to participate in the program,
please contact Mary Ann Genuario email@example.com
