Jedi Engineering using LEGO: For children entering grades: K-1

The Force Awakens in this introductory engineering course for young Jedi! Explore engineering principles by designing and building projects such as LEGO X-Wings, R2 Units, Energy Catapults, Defense Turrets, and Settlements from a galaxy far, far away. Create motorized and architectural projects with imagination and engineering to defeat the Empire!

Jedi Master Engineering using LEGO: For children entering grades: 2-5
The Force Awakens in this advanced engineering course for young Jedi! Discover key engineering concepts such as gear trains, worm drives, pneumatics, and eccentric motion. Build LEGO X-Wings, AT-AT walkers, Pod Racers, Star Destroyers, Cloud Cities, Settlements, Fortresses, and other complex machines and structures from a galaxy far, far away.

Minecraft Engineering: For children entering grades: K-1
Bring Minecraft to life using tens of thousands of LEGO! Build engineer-designed projects such as a motorized Creeper, a portal to the Nether, and a moving Mine cart! Create your favorite Minecraft objects with the guidance of an experienced Play-Well instructor. Whether you are new to Minecraft and LEGO or a seasoned veteran, you’ll be hooked on the endless creative possibilities.

Minecraft Master Engineering: For children entering grades: 2-5
Bring Minecraft to life using LEGO! Build a motorized walking Creeper, a terrifying Ghast, and a motorized Mine cart! This project-based camp, designed by Play-Well instructors, combines the basic format of our core engineering-themed programs based on the world of Minecraft. Students will explore real-world concepts in physics, engineering, and architecture while building their favorite Minecraft objects. Students will have a blast, even without any prior experience with Minecraft or LEGO.
Dates: July 10-14
Times: 1:00pm-4:00pm

Intro to STEM with LEGO: For children entering grades: K-1
Tap into your imagination with tens of thousands of LEGO®! Build engineer-designed projects such as Boats, Snowmobiles, Catapults, and Merry-Go-Rounds. Then use special pieces to create your own unique design! New and returning students can explore the endless creative possibilities of the LEGO® building system with the guidance of an experienced Play-Well instructor. There is no prerequisite for this course.
Dates: July 17-21
Times: 9:00am-12:00pm

STEM Challenge with LEGO: For children entering grades: 2-5
Power on your engineering skills with Play-Well TEKnologies and tens of thousands of
LEGO®! Apply real-world concepts in physics, engineering, and architecture through engineer-designed projects such as Catapults, Pneumatic Cranes, Arch Bridges, and Battle tracks! Design and build as never before, and explore your craziest ideas in a supportive environment. An experienced instructor will challenge new and returning students to engineer at the next level. There is no prerequisite for this course.
Dates: July 17-21
