Wilton Family Y OPEN HOUSE - Labor Day, Monday, 9/6/10
The entire facility will be open and free to the public. Bring a friend to enjoy the fitness center, 50 meter outdoor pool, the pond and beach at Kiwanis Park, the children’s outdoor splash pool, gym and racquetball court, mini golf course, and outdoor playgrounds.

Water Polo Meeting
Join the fun and excitement of water polo – The oldest Olympic Team Sport
This program is focused on building a successful team at the Y. Beginners are welcomed. No prior water polo experience is required although swimming skills are needed.
Organizational Meeting: Wednesday, September, 1 at the Y / 7:00 - 8:15pm
Pool Time is currently scheduled on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 8 to 9:30 PM and on Wednesdays 7:30 to 9 PM. Depending on the interest we will structure programs to address the needs. They can include a youth team (12 and under), a high school age team called Senior / Youth and a Masters Team.

GET MOVIN', STAY HEALTHY
Join the Family Bicycle Parade to Wilton Center - At noon on Saturday, Sept. 11, cyclists of all ages will meet at Allen’s Meadows parking area north of Wilton High School for a recreational ride down to the Wilton Center Gazebo to take part in the “Get Movin’, Stay Healthy” kick off event. Led by Wilton First Selectman Bill Brennan, the Parade encourages decorated bicycles and will have a police escort for the Route 7 sidewalk leg of the ride, which then goes through the Merwin Meadows path into the Center. At the Gazebo “Get Movin’, Stay Healthy” features bicycle safety tips from the Police Department, exercise demonstrations, displays of fresh produce, healthy cooking presentations, new “Walk Wilton” banners, Wellness Kiosks, bike racks and loanable bikes. The “Passport to Fitness” offers incentives from local businesses, organizations and restaurants. Don’t miss the fun and activities from 12:00 noon til 2:00 PM in Wilton Center on Sept. 11.
