Did you know that the game of basketball was invented at the YMCA in Springfield, MA in 1891. Since then, millions of people have played the game for fun and competition in Y gymnasiums all over the country. The Riverbrook Regional Y is a great place to come for a pick-up game, a youth basketball class, a competitive league, or just to practice shooting hoops on your own.
Kindergarten – Grade 6
The Y’s Youth Basketball program teaches boys & girls the fundamentals of the game, including dribbling, shooting, catching and passing, all the while having fun in a low key, non-pressure atmosphere.
